Nevruz, an ancient spring festival celebrated joyfully by millions of people in the Middle East and Central Asia, is just around the corner. However, instead of being a celebration of spring, in Turkey it has long been associated with tension, political demonstrations and even violent rallies in support of two decades of separatist violence staged by one of the bloodiest terrorist groups in the history of the Middle East.
